Title: Trouble setting up AL
Post by: fixmypcmike on January 21, 2009, 03:44:42 PM
I've installed AL, already have .NET 2.0, have not yet installed PRPC.  When I go to the Settings tab and right-click on Advanced Library there's no option to Import Content.  Do I need something else installed?

Which version do you have installed?

I thought I'd downloaded the latest -- the About says 1.0.0.0

Okay, I installed the latest beta (1.9) and that's working.  Next question -- if I import a Poser runtime, is there any way to rename/rearrange the folders it found?  I want to leave them as is on disk, but reorganize them.

No, the only way to influence the position in the tree is to move files around on your harddrive or to create the structure you like on the settings tab and then drag and drop folders from explorer onto the setup you created.

Oh, too bad.  I was hoping Advanced Library could import my existing structure, then let me rearrange things from there.  It sounds like you can either import the existing structure or create a structure from scratch,  but not import and then only do manually what you wanted to change.
