Title: 1.9.1.11 problems in Win7 64Bit RC
Post by: sparrownightmare on August 04, 2009, 04:01:16 PM
Hi.

I originally had this issue in 1.9.1.8 but I just updated to 1.9.1.11 and I have the same issue.  When I go to the Runtimes menu and try to synchronize with the "Synchronize Library" button, nothing happens.  I mean nothing, it turns blue for a second then nothing.  When I try to start the background indexer, it starts but never seems to do any indexing.  It just sits in the tray.  I have two large Runtime folders on separate drives, but it refuses to index them.  In the library folder, I see the basic folders for one of the runtimes but hardly any content in it.  Has anyone else had this issue.

Did it work with earlier versions?

Not on this rig.  This is a brand new system I just built.  I am running Win 7 RC on this big boy, the old system I had ran Vista Ultimate 32Bit, and ran it without too many problems.

Please e-mail me your library_config.xml and library_index.xml files and if possible a screenshot of one of the runtimes in explorer.

Where would I find those files?  And do you mean Windows Explorer or the explorer tabe in AL?  Also, what email address do you want it sent to?

To locate the files: Click the "Settings" tab, then "Misc." Tab and click the "Explore" button.
The mail address can be found on the "About" tab.

You should have the files in your Inbox now.  Thanks for the help.  I am probably just doing something glaringly stupid, but I have never had this issue before.
