I had a problem with the syncronice command caused by A folder shortcut inside Poser runtime directory.
The syncronize procedure entered in a loop and corrupted AL library informations.
From where to where did the shortcut point?
Try this:
1) Make a backup of library files.
2) In AL settings tab add a new category (in syncronize mode).
3) Link 'new category' to '..\Runtime\libraries\Character' Poser folder.
4) Use sincronize command.
5) In Windows Explorer create a shortcut of the '..\Runtime\libraries\Character' folder.
6) Move the shortcut inside '..\Runtime\libraries\Character' to create a circular reference.
7) Use syncronize command and wait (AL enters in a loop).
Close and Restart AL. In library tab 'new category' search for the shortcut and see the result.
The search procedure should ignore shortcuts altogether.

No that's something I added because i only have shortcuts inside of my library pointing to the product files outside the library. This way i always know what product the files are from and from where i got them. As Poser does support that, too, I'm not going to remove it.
But 1.0.6.3 (http://neocron.webspaceforme.net/library/installer/Advanced_Library_1_0_6_3.zip) should fix the loop problem that occured with shortcuts in the root of an AL category.
