Title: P7 and AL
Post by: Indoda on December 16, 2006, 06:12:27 PM
Hello Andreas,

I have got P7 installed and will still keeping using AL.   From one I can see AL works fine with P7 with the exception of blocking the new python scripts.  Do we need a new version of PRPCd from Ken compiled with whatever version P7 python was compiled with?

Have a good one,
Martin

Looks like we need in fact a new version. Doesn't have to do with compilation though as PRPC isn't compiled. Probably the way it works isn't good for Python 1.4 or Poser 7...

Last night while I was going off to sleep I thought "What an idiot. The .py script is just that; it's not compiled!"  I had been reading that some legacy scripts didn't work.  Sorry about that  :-[
