You don't need PRPC anymore for Poser 8 and Poser Pro 2010. AL can use Poser's internal library mechanism to load items. Just enable "Enable loading into Poser 8+" (Settings tab > Load into... > Poser). You'll need one of the more current beta versions for that.

I just got a new computer and poser pro 2010. I am having problems with PRPC working with poser pro 2010. The prpc pages support does not seem to be working anymore. When I start prpc (the latest beta and the earlier version) AL works and loads the poser items but I cannot adjust any of the parameter dials while prpc is loaded.  I am hoping you can help me or at least point me in the right direction as to where I can resolve this problem. Thanks.

Was pointing at a drive label assigned to one of the card readers on my monitor - although, why it had picked that up I don't know, certainly never set it to that value and it has always been that value.

No worries, just need to copy back across my saved .xml files and can use it again.

Did you maybe change the configuration folder in AL? If so, you can try to find "Advanced Library" with the registry editor and delete or change the subkey "ConfigurationDir".

Uninstalling I notice that the directories created in \local settings\apps\2.0 are not removed. There is a Data directory hierarchy here and another with a random string with the AL.exe and other duplicate items in this tree (same as in the location where I installed the app). I assume this is standard .net stuff (outside of my knowledge) and normal?

Since these don't get removed on the uninstall but I have manually deleted them as part of the uninstall, are there any registry keys that have perhaps been left behind that are still pointing at the original created directory names and can now no longer find them? Hence the i.o./no disk error stuff? Just guessing...

The error message is the standard windows popup - an error has occurred and needs to close etc. - the contents of the error are a full hex dump which I can't copy.

Nothing in AL_log.txt other than.

Deleted the log file, ran the shortcut again and get a new log file with a single

"-----------------------" in it.

If I run the .exe directly I get the Windows - No Disk dialog error "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c"

Cancel, Try again or Continue from that gives me the error occured pop up again with another row of "-----------------------" added to the log file.
