1.0.0.6 doesn't seem to contain any .exe files at all, just .deploy, .manifest and .application files!

I tried reinstalling that version 'cos on updating to 1.7.1.8 beta (after deliberately deleting my data directory) I find that the version won't start - I get the usual popup request to synch but no application window - then it crashes.  The earlier 1.7.1.7 does give an application window and then falls over with the same (unhelpfull) error message.

I was updating 'cos I wanted to move where AL stores its data and in 1.7.1.7 the box is locked - there's a "browse" button that does no more than browse but that's as far as it goes, I was hoping that this was fixed in the new release but of course I can't actually tell yet!

Cheers

Phil.

Ah, a reboot seems to have solved the crashes - there's still no way to enter anything in the "configuration files are stored at" box though

and 1.0.0.6 still seems a bit short on executables!

Hi Phil,

1.0.0.6 doesn't need exe files as the setup (separate zip) will install the application just fine. (And you can run AL from the .application files, too.)

There's no way to change the location where the configuration files are stored.

Please post more information about the crash so I can fix that.

Bye
