Hello. Hopefully you can help with this. AL installs and runs just fine in Windows 7 64-bit OS, however when you click the Synchronize Library button to enable searches it will run for a bit, then this error will pop up. "Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))

The details button provides the following:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

This looks like you've got a shortcut to another file or folder that you don't have access rights to.
I'll add some routines to pop up those kind of errors at the end of the sync run.

I would like to firstly thank you for the speedy response to this. Whatever you did, it corrected the problem quite nicely and all is well. Advanced Library makes it possible for me to do Poser work comfortably with a library of over 100gigs of assorted junk. It's the best thing that could happen to anyone that uses Poser or Daz Studio. I cannot thank you enough for it's existence. Much respect.

I'm glad that it did help, it's just suppressing the problem currently, there'll be some kind of error output someday ;-)

And thanks for your kind words :-)
