Problem with dfsvc.exe

I don't know why, but I can't start AL anymore. I get the message that there is a problem with dfsvc.exe and that it has to be terminated.
I tried to install the latest AL release but I can't. I tried de-installing the previous version but I can't.

It all started with avast going mad this morning, giving false alerts. I fixed that now, but the AL problem is still there. System recovery didn't help.

Any suggestions?

You could try to reinstall the .NET Framework, as that file is part of it.
