synchronize error with 1.7.1.4

i update the software with the last beta and i have the text "synchromize library not compatable with this version" at the end of the installation. i do a "synchronyze library" but i take the following error :

the exact error is " this version of the index file is not compatible with this version of AL. please resynchronyze your luibrary"

and i want to add another error : the last beta didn't create a software icon on the desk like the old version

I've merged your messages, so your email isn't visible for email harvesters ;-)

About the bug: I'd suggest to run checkdisk as that error indicates a problem with the file system. If that doesn't help I can code in some error handling so you see which directory/file causes the problem.
