No, never did write a log.

I think I figured it out though, it was Kaspersky IS 9.  On a fresh install KIS 9 kept breaking my .net install.  I've run a very selective backup and restore and AL works now.

Still haven't been able to make my old AL libraries work though.  I think they're from 1.7 or 1.8 beta and 1.9 won't touch 'em.

Well the library xmls didn't change, so they should still work... Did the drive letters change? Are they in the correct location (Settings Tab -> Misc, Application Data)?
